It's been a few months since we shot these photographs, but as put together this post we fell in love all over again! It was the perfect middle ground between an elopement and a vow renewal. Tim and Nissy were high school sweethearts that married young. They loved their courthouse ceremony but always felt a longing for those classic bridal portraits. The more she described her dream portraits, the more our imaginations began to run wild.
Their second wedding ceremony was intimate, romantic, and a little bit bohemian. The bride's brother officiated. Their two adorable kids stood at their sides (and then smooshed them together for their second first kiss!) And as the sun began to set, we moved from the desert ceremony site out to the cliff's edge.
Each moment was more irresistible than the one before. There were sweet family portraits and sweeping landscapes. Guitar serenades and windswept kisses. All serving as a sweet reminder that in marriage, when the roots are deep there is no need to fear the wind. Congratulations on ten beautiful years together!
